Destination is a place where children are taught Bible-based, fun, and age-appropriate curriculum. That means that the Bible is taught to your child in ways that are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate. Children learn that God loves them and wants to be their personal friend through Jesus Christ. Children have an opportunity to experience each other in large group settings and in small groups. A team of dedicated volunteers serves infants through sixth graders with a passion to help build a strong spiritual foundation while helping them learn to defend their faith, lead others, and serve Christ.
Infants & Toddlers — A special team of loving adults work to demonstrate Christ’s love by providing a safe and clean environment where the children can sing, play, and hear that God loves them.
2 & 3 Year Olds — Bible stories along with understandings of friendship and service are reinforced by observing adult leaders and helping others.
4 & 5 Year Olds — Children continue to expand their Bible knowledge through interactive Bible teaching, applicable activities, and music.
Kindergarten through 3rd Grade — Children begin to understand how the Bible has real application to their lives. Life-application of Bible lessons is reinforced through storytelling, teaching-point activities, music, role-play, and group discussions.
4th & 5th Grade — Biblical principles of Christ-like living are taught by helping children make the connection between Bible stories and daily life. Additionally, they begin learning how to defend their faith (apologetics) as group leaders discuss answers to some difficult questions.
6th Grade — Life-long spiritual practices are taught and encouraged including Bible study skills, daily devotional reading, Christian leadership, and service. The vision of the children’s ministry begins to unfold as 6th graders continue learning while serving others, leading during scheduled ministry events, and demonstrating lives touched by Christ.
